Assystem & Atkins expand their alliance

Assystem & Atkins are to expand their nuclear engineering alliance to support EDF in the deployment of the UK European Pressurized water Reactor (EPR) programme. The alliance will support EDF in those parts of its programme where it seeks a Franco-British team. This agreement broadens the scope of the partners’ alliance, the Nuclear Atkins Assystem Alliance (n.triple.a) formed in early 2011 to meet the needs of governments and utilities in countries interested in developing nuclear energy.

Promoting diversity

Along with the INSA de Lyon Foundation, Assystem has committed itself to promoting equality of opportunity by signing a sponsorship agreement on November 18th. This agreement embodies the group’s pledge towards its core values: responsibility, creativity, reactivity and solidarity. Assystem chose to focus more specifically on diversity promotion and the inclusion of students and employees with disabilities.

Assystem joins the UN Global Compact

The United Nations Global Compact, founded in 2000, gathers thousands of businesses from more than 130 countries willing to promote principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. By joining this program, Assystem pledges to support these values.
